NOTES:

Picked up a little toy today - a 75 - 300mm cheapo Canon zoom lens. Just went out and snapped a few quick shots of the moon to see how it might work. Focus is VERY touchy, but it looks like it might be pretty good for large targets like M31, NGC 7000 and the Veil. I've read that at or nearly wide open (f/5.6) this lens has some pretty severe chromatic aberration. So, I shot everything @ f/11 tonight. Just set up the still tripod for this image.
